After Dinner (Star Trek Plates)

When I lived in the Albany, NY area I spent a lot of time with my grandparents. Also, my college friends and I would drive up once every few weekends for dinner . . . it really was a lot of fun, and provided a great break from school.
Anyway, this photo was taken after a barbeque (I think in the summer of 1988). We cooked a ridiculous amount of steak on this tiny grill . . . my grandfather threw pine cones in with the coals, which gave the meat a woodsy taste.
The other thing is that my grandfather collected seemingly everything . . . and there was this phase where he collected plates . . . you know the kind, with celebrities, TV characters, etc, painted on the plate. In the back of the photo you can see Chekov from Star Trek . . . needless to say it made for interesting decor.
